Project Overview

During the first Covid-19 confinement period in Mauritius, numerous families were not able to access food and other necessities as all grocery stores were closed.  Food packs were needed as well as face masks for adults so that they could return to work, and children so that they could move about the island and eventually return to school. I61 Foundation, together with Amour et Espoir and the Village Council of La Gaulette, worked together with other NGO’s in the region to ensure that every family was reached and duplications were avoided.  Thank you to our funders for allowing us to support all these families in this time of crisis.

A movie was made for I61 Foundation to show the food pack distribution.

Please Note: All information herein, in part or in whole, is that of the said NGO and not of the I61 Foundation. 100% of the funds raised will be allocated to the project. If you have any questions, we would be more than happy to answer them. Thank you for your consideration.
