Volunteer Connect bridges enthusiastic individuals with a wide array of opportunities within our registered NPO network. These span from literacy programs and construction tasks to garment upcycling, recycling, and administrative roles.

Positions are available island wide, and can be either short or long term commitments depending on the NPO requirements. As our NPO network grows, so do the diverse, ever-evolving opportunities, ensuring there’s always a new and rewarding way to contribute your time and skills.

Timing

Mondays and Tuesdays from 4pm to 17:30pm

Kolektif Rivier Nwar works with children who need special attention and care.

We need volunteers to assist the specialised educator and the educational support officer during the activities. The volunteers should be very patient and maintain confidentiality unless there is a need to discuss with a responsible person at the NGO for the child’s security. Ideally, volunteers should commit long-term to ensure consistency with the program, however we also welcome part timers. 

Qualification or experience required: 

  1. Basic French and English
  2. No experience is required
  3. Ability to work in team is essential

Founded in 2014, the NGO aims to break the cycle of generational poverty in disadvantaged regions by focusing on education and providing support to children and their families. One of its key initiatives is to educate children starting from kindergarten and guide them throughout their academic journey until they complete their studies.
