Project Overview
In 2006, Fondation Espoir et Développement (FED) launched the Beautiful Localhands (BLH) project to help local craft workers by giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and sell their products to the tourist market. The project is a resounding success and generates income for vulnerable people, their communities, and helps preserve traditional crafts and cultural heritage.
The Beautiful Localhands (BLH) website is now complete! The website has been created by Diizz Interactive giving an overview of the different artisans contributing to the BLH Project. This platform offers the artisans an opportunity to showcase their products as well as providing their background story. We are excited to see how the BLH website improves the visibility of these talented people and ultimately their business turnover. Thank you to Fondation Espoir et Développement (FED) for their commitment and passion to this project.
